Azarenka easily finishes
Victoria Azarenka demonstrated precisely why she is being
touted as a reasonable title contender at the Australian Open on Thursday – not
that she is purchasing it.
The Belarussian squandered no time in her 6-1 6-2
whipping of Montenegro's Danka Kovinic, softening serve up the first round of
the match and dashing to a 4-1 lead instantly, before wrapping things up in 65
minutes.
She conceded she is fit as a swindle both actually and
"personality sharp", yet is releasing the buildup that, especially
with half of the ladies' seeds now out of the competition, she is one of the
players to beat at Melbourne Park.
"Immaterial," Azarenka hypothetical of the talk.
