Chris Gayle crushed a 12-ball fifty for Melbourne
Renegades next to Adelaide striker in the Big Bash League at MCG on Monday.
Gayle scored a brutal 56 keeps running in 17 balls including 7 sixes and
several fours to his name.
All the while, he equaled Yuvraj Singh's record of the
quickest T20 fifty. After Gayle's fierce thump, Yuvraj Singh tweeted his
failure and asked the left-hander to score in 10 balls next time. Yuvraj feel
AB de Villiers can smash his 12-ball 50 record.
Yuvraj had scored a 12-ball fifty against England in the
ICC World T20 in the year 2007. He crushed Stuart Broad for six sixes in an
over which is still a record in the T20 position.
