PTI makes first appearance, PML-N gains strength in Senate polls



ISLAMABAD: Pakistani law makers chosen through key poll on Friday to choose 44 Senators, with the judgment Pakistan Islamic Group – Nawaz (PML-N) getting durability as the second biggest celebration in the  senate with 26 chairs.

According to unofficial outcomes acquired by Geo Information, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) maintained its identify as the biggest celebration but missing its durability in the  senate with only 27 chairs now as in comparison to its previous 40 chairs.

On the 12 chairs on which polling was organized in Baluchistan, the judgment coalition appeared as the champion with the PML-N and the Nationwide Party (NP) getting three chairs each. The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami celebration (PkMAP) also took three chairs, while a JUI-F and a separate applicant grabbed one chair each.

Both chairs from Islamabad Investment Area were won by the PML-N, providing it to a complete of 26 chairs in the senate, according to unofficial outcomes.

ECP Postpones Polling on FATA Seats


The Selection Percentage of Pakistan delayed senate elections for FATA chairs on Friday after revocation of polling procedure since morning hours.

The Selection Percentage of Pakistan applied limitations on the press from protecting the senate elections. Reporters were first limited from coming into the KP then Punjab Assembly. They have also been barred from the Nationwide Assembly.

Members of the Nationwide and provincial devices were barred from holding cell cellular phones or any system that can take an image during the senate elections.
